The KWSB Alumni Advisory Board (KAAB), was created to coordinate an alumni-driven effort to enhance the overall experience for current and future students involved with KWSB, Western State College's student-operated radio station. Its mission statement:

“Strengthening KWSB through alumni support to maximize the WSC experience for current and future students.”

KWSB was the springboard for hundreds of successful broadcasting careers. While a career in radio broadcasting may not be as appealing today as it was in the past, it's important to remember students develop critical personal and professional skills, like leadership and problem solving, through KWSB participation. These skills are valuable in all walks of life.
